Our position on hosted content

youtubethumbgrabber.xyz does not host, upload, cache, or store thumbnail images, videos, or any other copyrighted media. The Site simply links to and displays images that are already publicly served by YouTube's own image servers (img.youtube.com) for any given public video. If you believe a thumbnail should be removed from YouTube itself, that request needs to go to YouTube directly, since we don't control that content.

Filing a takedown notice

If you believe something on this Site (outside of publicly-served YouTube thumbnails, covered above) infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent below, including:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail (e.g. a URL) for us to locate it.
  • Your contact information — address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-notification
